There are many food delivery options in Columbus, and one of the latest to hit the scene is Skip The Dishes. Skip The Dishes services a good variety of restaurants in the city. You can order online or through their app, and you can even schedule deliveries ahead of time. One of the features we enjoyed is GPS tracking of the delivery, so we could watch a live map of our meal making its way to us.

The good folks at Skip The Dishes gave us the chance to try a meal on them. We’re pretty much always in the mood for something (okay, everything) from Helen’s Asian Kitchen, so when we saw them on the list – the choice was already made. We ordered our favorite stir-fried cauliflower, dumplings, egg rolls, and General Tso’s. The restaurant actually had a question about our order, so Helen herself called us to clarify it.

In our experience, Skip The Dishes’¬†customer service is pretty on point. Another family member later ordered through Skip The Dishes and the restaurant couldn’t fulfill the order because they lacked a delivery driver. Skip The Dishes immediately called them to apologize, offered them $5 off, and helped them place another order.

Interested in trying Skip The Dishes yourself? Look through their list of Columbus restaurants, then comment on this post with the restaurant you’d most like to get delivered, and you’ll be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to Skip The Dishes! Enter by midnight Tuesday, August 25. UPDATE: The contest is now closed. Thanks to all who entered!
