On our trip taking Amtrak’s Southwest Chief from Chicago to Flagstaff, we started our first morning at the terrific Tourist Home for breakfast.
The large, one-room cafe features a small coffee counter and bar in the center of the space. They offer counter service, with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to sit.
The coffee service is top-notch, and it pairs nicely with any of the house baked goods like glazed or cinnamon-dusted crullers.
It’s hard to argue with the quality of the breakfasts at Tourist Home, from the colorful huevos rancheros and rich fried chicken and biscuits…
…to the hearty breakfast burrito and the classic breakfast with sausage, eggs, and hash browns.
We’re still getting to know Flagstaff, but we’d throw in Tourist Home as one of the city’s best breakfasts so far!
