See Inside: Bake Me Happy’s New Schumacher Place Location

October 5, 2022

This week Bake Me Happy opened in its new location at Whittier Street and Parsons Avenue in Schumacher Place. The gluten free bakery closed up its original Merion Village shop to move into the former post office space. Take a look inside!

While the new bakery foregoes the sit-down coffee shop aspect, it features expanded production and retail space.

A full coffee bar features drip coffee, espresso, cold brew, hot chocolate, tea, and specialty drinks.

Returning are all of Bake Me Happy’s delicious gluten free goodies, like donut muffins…

…zebra cakes…

…and oatmeal creme clouds. Not to mention sweet and savory scones, cookies, brownies, and much more.

A retail shelf sits stocked with local coffees like Thunderkiss, Royal Flamingo, Ramble Coffee, Backroom, and Tired Mama’s.

In another corner sit separate retail shelves and coolers.

These are stocked with gluten free groceries…

…as well as GF prepared foods, beverages, and the like.

The new space echoes of the old post office, while still feeling refreshed and new.

Parking is available in a small lot next to the building on Parsons.

Bake Me Happy’s new shop is currently open Tues-Fri, 7a-4p; Sat-Sun, 9a-4p.
