Vegan Versions of Your Favorite Treats at Pattycake Bakery

February 15, 2023

Pattycake Bakery is a long-running and much-loved vegan and organic bakery in the heart of Clintonville. In 2021 they moved to a new and bigger home just up High Street in the former Flowers & Bread space (across from Whetstone library and rec center).

Pattycake has refurbished the space, making use of its natural light to create a beautiful bakery that’s open for carryout business.

If you’re not familiar with Pattycake, give them a try whether you eat plant-based or not. Their treats are delicious by any measure.

They excel at a lot of classic treats: chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, muffins, pie, cinnamon rolls (which are a big weekend favorite).

They do all sorts of fun cakes and cookies for any holiday or occasion.

And their retail space features Pattycake swag and other local goodies. We’ve enjoyed their house-made granola many times throughout the years.

You’ll find locally roasted Thunderkiss Coffee and Ramble Coffee on the shelves.

Plus fun mugs, stickers, T-shirts.

Pattycake is open Wednesday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Do note that masks are required for entry (they are provided just inside the door if you don’t have one).
