Kokomo Juice & Coffee Paradise is an Oasis on Parsons Avenue

September 18, 2024

Along the growing stretch of Parsons Avenue, there’s a new stop for coffee and juice! Kokomo Juice & Coffee Paradise sits in a new build across the street from Comune and Parsons North Brewing Company. The little outpost serves up coffee, juices, and snacks, with a little bit of indoor seating plus several al fresco tables and chairs.

The inside features a small ordering counter, a couple display cases, and a front window counter for seating. Giant monsteras and other bits of greenery hang from the ceiling.

Their menu spans a variety of coffees and teas, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, cold brews on tap, and a rotating selection of specialties. Kokomo is noted for its collection of house-made syrups, too.

I sampled the Maria’s Cafecito, a sweet and strong concoction also known as a Cuban coffee or Cubano. It involves a shot of espresso whipped with brown sugar, plus a little warmed (but not frothed) milk.

I also snagged their smooth and creamy nitro cold brew to go.

Kokomo also sells bottled coffees and snacks!

They’re currently open Sunday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday-Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
