This week the new Bottoms Up Coffee Co-op opened in Franklinton. I’m pretty much always thinking about coffee, so the announcement quickly led to this week’s Three To Try theme: cozy little coffee shops.
1. Bottoms Up Coffee Co-op – Bottoms Up is a new coffee shop and co-working space in Franklinton. They’re brewing coffee with beans from Brioso Roastery. Proceeds from coffee sales, co-working fees, and memberships support programs to reduce infant mortality.
2. Yeah, Me Too –Yeah, Me Too is the epitome of the hidden gem. Cash only, no phone, no website, no Facebook page. They roast their own beans and sell hot French pressed coffee (small or large) and cold brew coffee. That’s it. But it’s some seriously good coffee.
3. Highline Coffee Co. – Highline is a one-room coffee shop in Old Worthington, serving up espresso, cappuccinos, brewed coffee, and snacks. Great place to stop when you’re strolling the neighborhood (and visiting Mrs. Breakfast w/Nick at Igloo Letterpress, of course).
