Milo’s Deli Makes its Triumphant Return to Franklinton

October 6, 2025

After more than a decade, the Franklinton institution Milo’s Deli has returned to the neighborhood in a new space! For those who remember, Milo’s Deli operated on West Broad Street for many years, just down from Tommy’s Diner, which is owned within the same family.

Milo’s now occupies the former Strongwater Food & Spirits space on West Town Street, on the northern end of the 400 West Rich building and across the street from Land-Grant Brewing.

While the bar remains in the same spot, the former offices have been opened up into the counter and kitchen space.

The space is lined with white subway tile and windows have been opened up, so it feels larger and brighter in there.

The menu comprises all the favorites: sandwiches, grilled paninis, salads, pastas, and sides.

The bakery case is stocked with muffins, bars, baklava, cookies, and more treats.

Plus slices of cake, cheesecake, and more desserts.

I paid them a quick visit on opening day, opting for a reuben and tortellini salad.

The reuben falls under their grilled panini section; it’s layered nicely with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and Thousand Island on marbled rye.

I enjoyed the colorful tortellini salad, too!

One wall is decorated with a stylized map highlighting local landmarks (including the original Milo’s and Tommy’s Diner, of course!).

Welcome back, Milo’s!

Milo’s Deli is open Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
