Happy Friday! Here’s the latest Columbus restaurant news:
- Joya’s Cafe officially announced that they are expanding into the space next to them in Old Worthington, the former Grid Furnishings space. With the expansion they plan to add more seating, a bigger kitchen, private dining space, and more dinner hours.
- Following shortly on the heels of opening their Linworth shop, Koffee Paradise has opened their third location at 1333 N. High St. near Ohio State’s campus.
- The historic Buxton Inn in Granville will officially reopen next week Wednesday, Sept. 23 after extensive renovations under new owners. The Inn had been closed for years following changes of ownership and a fire back in 2022.
- Speaking of Granville, Seek No Further Cidery has fully launched their own coffee shop, with coffee and baked goods served during the morning hours.
- Honey Boy Pizzeria debuts today inside Eupouria beer bar, at 1568 N. High St. in the Gateway University District. They’re specializing in New York City style pies.
- O’Charley’s restaurants has officially closed up completely, including their final two central Ohio locations in Reynoldsburg and Canal Winchester.
- Four Columbus business have been nominated for USA Today’s 10 Best awards, including Watershed Distillery for Craft Gin, Simple Times Mixers for Craft Mixer Brand, Echo Spirits for Craft Rum and Spirits Tasting Room, and Middle West Spirits for Craft Whiskey and Craft Vodka.
