Columbus Restaurant News: Yellow Springs Brewery closing Clintonville, Boston Stoker Grandview closes

November 5, 2026

Here’s your weekly roundup of Columbus restaurant news, including new openings, closings, and menu updates!

  • Yellow Springs Brewery announced that they’ll be closing their Clintonville taproom at 2855 Indianola Ave. on Dec. 23 of this year. Their original Yellow Springs taproom and brewery remain unchanged, and they’ll keep distributing their beer in town.
  • Speaking of breweries, Land-Grant Brewing officially announced that they have acquired Nocterra Brewing. They plan to keep brewing Nocterra beers and re-open the Powell taproom this month. (It sounds like the Audubon brewpub won’t re-open.) They said in a release that in January they’ll temporarily close the Powell taproom for some updates to the bar and the beer garden.
  • Boston Stoker Coffee‘s shop at 1101 W. First Ave. in Grandview has closed up. They didn’t make an overt announcement, but it’s been taken down from their website and Google lists it as permanently closed.
  • A new coffee shop called Common Cup Coffee has opened at 633 High St. #103 in Old Worthington.
  • Wolf’s Ridge at the Worthington Inn announced that their new basement cocktail bar, The Den, will officially open on Friday, Nov. 6.
  • Winans Chocolates & Coffee announced that they’ll be joining Pickerington next summer with a location at 35 N. Center St.
  • The owners of The Tasty Good announced that they’re shutting down their ice cream truck, Lady Sprinkleton.
  • The owners of the Linworth Grill, which closed in July after about six months in business, announced on social media that they won’t be reopening the cafe (which they had previously announced). Instead, they’re now owners of Huli Huli Tiki Lounge in Powell. (Huli Huli’s newer downtown location is still under original ownership.)
  • Barley’s Brewing Company hosts its annual Christmas Ale Tapping – as well as its 34th anniversary party – this Friday evening, Nov. 6.
  • There are still a couple spots left (as of this writing) for Columbus Food Adventures’ November Taste Of dinner, which features a Nepali Tihar feast at Everest Cuisine on Nov. 11.
  • Tickets are also on sale for their Nov. 18 Supper Club featuring chef Alana Shock.
