Rockmill Brewery: beautiful brewery located on an old horse farm outside Lancaster. Focuses on Belgian-styles. Modern taproom with pizza kitchen, expansive lawns and a pond for enjoying beers, event space in the old farmhouse.

Art & Clay on Main: paint-your-own clay pieces at this downtown Lancaster shop, which shares its space with Square 7 Coffee House
Buckeye Lake State Park: the northeast corner of Fairfield County touches Buckeye Lake, and includes the state park with marinas, swimming, and more
Christmas Rocks State Nature Preserve: nature preserve with hiking trails, popular for birding, known for great scenic views
Decorative Arts Center: arts center in an historic Lancaster home with rotating exhibitions, classes, lectures, camps
Historical Aircraft Squadron: volunteer-run museum dedicated to working historic aircraft. Located in an hangar at the Fairfield County Airport in Carroll. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays; tour the museum, see them working on aircraft and flying them.
Keller Market House: market and store in Lancaster focused on loads of local and region products
Lancaster Farmers Market: seasonal outdoor market running Saturdays, May-September
Ohio Glass Museum: excellent museum in Lancaster focused on modern and historic glass artistry, with a gift shop, glass-blowing studio
Sherman House: museum located in the Georgian home that was birthplace to the Civil War general
STUMP: cool spot to fulfill all your plant needs in Lancaster
Rising Park: highly recommended park in Lancaster that's home to Mount Pleasant. A short but strenuous hike puts you on top of a 250-foot sandstone cliff with amazing views.
