Hey guys! Christi the intern here for another “Three To Try.” In the past I’ve done diners or places near campus, but there’s not quite a rhyme or reason to this post – it’s just general places I enjoy. So here are my top picks of places you should try this week.
1. Kafe Kerouac – Kafe Kerouac is different than most coffee shops around Columbus. Its relaxing atmosphere is complemented by its simplistic furniture and numerous books all around. The coffee is great and the hours are incredibly convenient, especially if you’re a student and need a place to study for finals.
2. Insomnia Cookies – Straying from the typical breakfast theme, Insomnia Cookies is another “must try” if you haven’t already. Insomnia is essentially fast food baked goods. They have late night hours, and their cookies are incredible. When you need some serious comfort food I highly recommend a “cookiwhich” which is basically a cookie sandwich with ice cream in the middle.
3. Apollo’s Greek Kitchen – Another one of my favorites that I would highly recommend is Apollo’s Greek Kitchen. Apollo’s is located on High Street right near campus. The food is delicious; definitely try a gyro is you go. The hours are convenient as they’re open late night, and they have delivery, which is nice. They have everything from traditional Greek specialties to plain old subs and wings; there’s something for everyone.
So those are my recommendations for the week – I hope you like them as much as I do! And if you’re an Ohio State student, I hope these places help you get through exams. Happy studying!
