Three To Try: Food Truck Breakfasts

September 30, 2016

This weekend Challah launches Sunday brunch at their new location inside Woodland’s Tavern. We’ve loved Challah’s brunch before – you can still find the truck Sundays at Seventh Son – but I’m excited to see what Catie and her crew do with their new spot. Which leads me to this week’s theme: food truck breakfasts.

1. Challah – Challah’s brunch is already great and it looks like it’ll just keep getting better. The menu at Woodland’s is expanded, and… features Bloody Marys.

2. The Truck at The Bottle Shop– We’ve love getting cocktails at the Bottle Shop, and their truck – just called The Truck – has kicked weekend brunch into full gear with steak & eggs, chilaquiles, challah French toast, and more.

3. Broke Johnny Food Truck – I have yet to catch the Broke Johnny truck (shame on me), but it’s one of the few Columbus trucks dedicated solely to breakfast. The menu ranges from sweet and savory waffles to burritos to huevos rancheros. Follow them on Facebook to see where they’re popping up.
