There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!

  • Sadly, Four String Brewing announced abruptly this week that it is ceasing operations for the time being. The Grandview and Hilltop taprooms are closed.
  • The Brekkie Shack, located at 1060 Yard St. in the Grandview Yard, hosts its grand opening this Friday, Oct. 12.
  • Stack City Burger Bar in Short North has closed
  • The Circleville Pumpkin Show is next week, Oct. 17-20! If you go, pick up some fresh pumpkin donuts from Lindsey’s Bakery for me!
  • The 1400 Food Lab Food Lab’s latest Sunday Supper is this Sunday, Oct. 14, and features a southern-inspired dinner from Retro Dinner Diva. Tickets and details here!
  • The Bluejackets announced two new partnerships this week: High Bank Distillery will be operating two bars, one on the main concourse and one at the Club Level, while Great Lakes Brewing Company will run a branded bar on the main concourse near section 117.
  • Mikey’s Late Night Slice is hosting the Pinky Out Pizza & Beer Party with Chef Marcus Meacham and North High Brewing this Saturday, Oct. 12. Get your tickets here!
  • Red Door BBQ announced they’ll be opening a location across from Ohio State’s campus next year.
  • The B.R.E.A.D. Festival of Art & Community is this week Saturday, Oct. 14 at Coffman Park in Dublin. The festival includes dance, music, food, kid’s activities, and more.
  • There are only two more days for the Columbus Commons Food Truck Food Court this season: Thursday, Oct. 18 and Oct 25.
  • Pibil Columbus is serving a special three-course Mexican brunch at 1400 Food Lab on Saturday, Oct. 27. Get a look at the menu and get tickets here.
