
There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!
- Forty’s Chicken & Waffles opens inside Old North Arcade today, serving fried chicken, mac and cheese, Belgian waffles, slaw, and more.
- The restaurant inside Bangkok Grocery has re-opened for the season after their usual winter hiatus.
- Alqueria, a new restaurant from two former chefs at Barcelona, is opening next Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 247 King Ave. in Victorian Village, former site of The Angry Baker.
- The owners of the Leone’s Pizza, which closed last October, announced they’ll be re-opening by Feb. 1 at The Osteria inside Camelot Cellars in Olde Towne East with an expanded menu.
- Oats & Barley Market in Short North announced they will be closing.
- The Meat Packers Outlet, open since 1957, has closed downtown.
- South of Lane Cafe goes on its winter hiatus from Jan. 28 through Feb. 8.
- Huli Huli Tiki Lounge & Bar will open soon at 26 W. Olentangy St. in Powell
- Local Cantina announced they will be adding a Short North location at 600 N. High St. on the 670 cap., former home to Stack City Burger Bar.
- The Nate’s Steamed Bagels food truck has started appearing on weekends at Antiques on High in the Brewery District.
- And the Preston’s Burgers truck is now appearing Fridays at the new Parsons North Brewing Company.
- Fantasy Cupcake soft opens in their new space at 3 S. High St. in Canal Winchester this week.
