There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!
- A new donut and coffee shop, The Stack on Lane, officially opened earlier this week at 262 W. Lane Ave. It’s operated by the team behind Lil Donut Factory and the Coffee Mess in Hilliard.
- Cameron Mitchell’s latest concept, the Lincoln Social Rooftop, opens on Tuesday, Apr. 30 on the ninth floor of 705 N. High St. in Short North.
- The new country music and bourbon bar Bristol Republic is now open at 1124 N. High St. in Short North. The menu has been created by the team from Smoked on High.
- Winans Coffee & Chocolates is opening a new store at 1125 Yard St. in the Grandview Yard development on Saturday, Apr. 27.
- Neehee’s Indian Vegetarian Street Food opened at 6080 Sawmill Rd.
- SuperChef’s downtown location at 199 E. Broad St. seems to have closed. The restaurant is no longer listed on their website. The Gahanna location remains open.
- The owners of Peace, Love, & Little Donuts in Worthington are opening a second store at 2110 W. Henderson Rd. on Monday, April 29.

- The Turkish Food Festival is Saturday, Apr. 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Zaftig Brewing releases their Ol’ Rugger imperial stout on Saturday, Apr. 27 starting at noon
- Germania Columbus hosts their annual Schmeckfest in the Brewery District on Saturday, Apr. 27 from 2-4 p.m.
- Valter’s at the Maennerchor celebrates Maifest on Saturday, Apr. 27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Old Dog Ale House in Delaware hosts a fundraiser for the Green Beret Foundation, Brews For Berets, on Sunday, Apr. 28 from 6-9 p.m.
- Taste of Westerville is coming Thursday, May 2, from 6-9 p.m. at The Lakes Golf & Country Club. Yours truly will be judging!
