There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:

  • A new brewery and bar from the owners of Seventh Son Brewing and Antiques on High, Getaway Brewing, opens this weekend at 108 N. High St. in Dublin. Getaway Brewing features a travel theme, with cocktails, wine, and a roster of house-made international styles of beer.
  • ‘Plas Food and Drink has opened at 21 E. Fifth Ave. in the Short North (former home of The Table). It’s focused around “crafted rustic cuisine” and cocktails, and is currently open for dinner hours Monday through Saturday.
  • Faye’s Crepes announced that the last day for their original Polaris Fashion Place location will be Sunday, May 30, but that they’ll also be adding a new location at Easton this summer. Fay’s is also working on a store in the upcoming Bubbly Hall in New Albany.
  • The owners of Short North Food Hall shared that it’s permanently closed, and the space will become an expansion of Standard Hall.
  • Rockmill Tavern announced that it will close up temporarily and re-open as a new concept this September.
  • A new coffee trailer called Honey Cup Coffee Company makes its debut this Saturday, May 29 at the corner of Hudson and Summit
  • Watershed Kitchen & Bar re-opened this week after being closed since March of last year.
  • Fusian in Westerville hosts a night market next Wednesday, June 2 from 6-9 p.m., featuring local vendors like Angie’s Rainbow Cookies, Honey Cup Coffee, Good Vibes Winery, Dodo Donuts, as well as live music and food/drink specials from area restaurants.
