With all that’s going on at Easton these days – new restaurants, loads of shopping, cocktail bars, live music, movies, Legos, seasonal events – the area almost begs for an overnight stay! Fortunately, Easton hotels like the recently renovated Residence Inn Columbus Easton offer comfortable lodging with easy access to all of the shopping center’s amenities.

The Residence Inn is designed for longer stays, but its rooms are ideal for a quick overnight or a weekend staycation, too. They offer studios and one- or two-bedroom suites.

Each room includes a full kitchen with stove and microwave, areas to lounge and to work.

And if you’re enjoying an extended stay or prefer to stick to the hotel – the Residence Inn is only a half block from Trader Joe’s!

The Residence Inn offers a full hot breakfast every morning.

It includes meeting spaces and a fitness center. In the warmer months there’s a big courtyard with a pool and a gas grill.

The great thing about staying at Easton is that you have shops, restaurants, cocktail bars, breweries, and entertainment all within walking distance.

I start every morning with coffee, so I’d head over to Crimson Cup’s new flagship store Crimson for a cortado, a pour over, or maybe an iced latte in the summer.

You’ll find several different breakfast and brunch options at Easton, from Fay’s Crepes, which moved to Easton from Polaris last year…

…to the new Another Broken Egg, serving modern Southern favorites just a block away from the Residence Inn.

But I’m always tempted by Dragon Donuts, too.

With the AMC Theatre right there in the main building, you can walk over to catch the latest blockbusters right on the big screen. The AMC also features in-house dining options and a full bar, so you can lounge in the recliner and enjoy a full meal with your movie.

And who can deny the fun of the Legoland Discovery Center? You can spend time in there building Lego cars and racing them, hitting up the rides, visiting the 4D theatre, seeing the Lego models of Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.
Bonus: be sure to visit the Lego store, too!

Easton has been growing in recent years, with new restaurants, stores, and entertainment venues opening up. We’ve dug our visits to Slurping Turtle for ramen and cocktails.

And the huge True Food Kitchen dishes up a creative menu of plant-forward cuisine, from burgers to flatbreads to desserts.

You’ll find plenty of options just to stroll. I’ve appreciated Easton’s growing public art collection.

But even a simple overnight or weekend staycation at the Residence Inn Columbus Easton offers plenty of opportunities to hang out and relax!
