
There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!
- Hot Chicken Takeover celebrates National Fried Chicken Day on Saturday, July 6 by donating $1 from every meal to Food Rescue US. That day also marks the debut of their new side dish: baked beans.
- The plant-based SOW Plated is set to open on July 9 at 1625 W. Lane Ave. in Upper Arlington.
- The Columbus Commons extended their Tuesday morning Wake Up with the Commons program to every Tuesday in July. From 7:30-10:30 a.m., Crimson Cup Coffee, Buckeye Donuts, and Nate’s Steamed Bagels are on site serving breakfast.
- This week Stauf’s Coffee Roasters kicked off a Summer Passport program. You can pick up a passport at any of their six locations, visit all of them and collect stamps, and earn prizes. Their new Victorian Village location at 1334 Neil Ave. is set to open soon as well!
- An egg-centric restaurant called Egg-O-Holic is now open at 331 W. Bridge St. in Dublin.
- An upcoming brewery called Spires Social Brewing just announced they’ve signed a lease on a space at 8757 Sancus Blvd. off Polaris.
