There’s a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world – here’s the latest!
- Nancy’s Home Cooking announced it will be opening in its new location on Monday, Aug. 17. Nancy’s recently left its long-time Clintonville home to the old Jack’s Diner space at 52 E. Lynn St. downtown.
- While they’re finishing their new space at 105 N. Grant St. downtown, Pierogi Mountain has started delivery to a limited area. They hope to open for dine-in within the next couple weeks.
- The new Chapman’s Eat Market, located at 739 S. Third St. in German Village, announced on social media that they are opening today for delivery and carryout.
- The first Ohio location of Utah-based Crumbl Cookies opens today, Aug. 14 at 6780 Perimeter Loop Rd. in Dublin. A second location in Delaware is on the way, too.
- The Carryout Food Truck Rally is Aug. 15-16, noon to 7 p.m. each day, at the Ohio History Center. You can pre-order from your favorite trucks here, then pick them up at the center.
- Hot Chicken Takeover and Mikey’s Late Night Slice team up once again for their annual Hot Mikey’s Takeover Pizza. The pizza will be available at LNS shops from Aug. 17-23; they’ll make donations to the Columbus Diaper Bank for every pizza sold.
- Columbus Burger Week runs Aug. 17-23, with participating restaurants offering $6 burgers.
