There’s always a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:

  • Oshio Station has soft opened downtown at 194 S. High St. It’s open with a limited menu from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday-Saturday.
  • As of last week, Destination Donuts closed its North Market stall and is in the process of moving to a new storefront in Clintonville.
  • The Columbus Italian Festival takes place this weekend, Oct. 8-10, in Italian Village around St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
  • Zen Bee Meadery announced that they are working on new location at 480 E Wilson Bridge Rd. in Worthington.
  • Boston-based Legal Sea Foods has launched for delivery and carryout service out of Smith & Wollensky at Easton. The service offers dishes like lobster, fish and chips, lobster rolls, crab cakes, and more.
  • Business First reported this week that LemonShark Poké & Makai Grill and Roots Natural Kitchen are slated to join the development at 15th and High next to Ohio State’s campus. Barrio Tacos was previously announced as opening a location there.
  • A new event venue called The Sanctuary on Neil, operated in partnership with Cameron Mitchell Premiere Events, has opened in a renovated church at 618 Neil Ave. in Victorian Village.
  • The Donut and Beer Festival is coming to Huntington Park on Saturday, Oct. 16. As you’d expect, it features beers, ciders, donuts, live music, and more.
  • This Sunday, Oct. 10 is Old Worthington’s monthly Sunday Funday event, this one featuring an Oktoberfest theme with food trucks, beer, live music, family activities, and more.
